Decorate your home for Christmas – how?

You may need to get your Christmas decorations from your Kwun Tong storage before the move, so put that on your moving checklist. This way you will be prepared to just unpack the stuff and start decorating your new home! So, grab those boxes, start unpacking them, and decorate your home for Christmas the right way!

Decorating your Christmas tree

The Christmas tree is the centerpiece of your house during the holidays. That is why you need to make it look as magnificent as possible! This can be hard, but not if you follow these tips! Get all of your tree decorations and start putting them on the tree. When you finish, and you like how it looks, that is great! However, if you still feel like something is missing, you are probably right. Professional decorators would, in this case, use picks, like branches and pinecones and flowers, and also clips, such as birds, and other types of ornaments. They will really give your tree a unique and “real” feel and make your room sparkle and shine!

Using ribbon

Ribbon is maybe the best thing you can use for your Christmas decoration. You can put it on your Christmas tree, your staircase, the walls, around the fireplace… You get the notion, you can put it basically everywhere. Take the ribbon, and wrap it around the Christmas tree, and also put some on top. You can even make a flower, or a star out of the ribbon and put it on the top of the tree. Furthermore, wrap it around the staircase, tape it to the walls in interesting shapes, and you can even write something on it. For example, put it above your fireplace, and write down Merry Christmas. The possibilities are endless!

Using the right colors

All of this is great, but it is nothing if you do not match the colors well. You should see which color palette your room is in and then get decorations according to that. The best idea is getting two colors that naturally go well together, and mix them up. It is also a great idea to get shades of those two colors. This will really make entering the room a beautiful experience.

With all that said, good luck with decorating your home for Christmas!
